Agung Yudha

Agung Yudha is a seasoned public policy, public affairs, and government relations practitioner with more than two decades of experience working for CSOs, international organizations, and private companies.
He started his career in 1998 as Contributing Author for the Community Mapping Network, then joined the Institute for Policy Research and Advocacy in 1999 until 2009, when he was recruited by Search for Common Ground to manage its Partners in Humanity program as well as Managing Editor of CGNews South East Asia. During the first decade of his career he also served as an individual consultant for justice, security sector, and bureaucracy reforms in the country. In 2010 he started working for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), to lead some initiatives for its Provincial Governance Strengthening Project in Indonesia.
In 2014, Agung transitioned to the private sector by joining Google Public Policy team, then joined Twitter in 2015. He was the Director for Public Policy and Philanthropy for Indonesia and Malaysia at Twitter since 2020, while concomitantly serving as Chief Representative for the Twitter Asia Pacific Pte Ltd office in Jakarta since 2017.
Agung entered the consulting business in 2021 with the Asia Group Advisors as the Indonesia Director and Country Representative. His latest post was as President of Edelman Global Advisory Indonesia from 2022 where he has produced dozens of thought leadership articles on regulatory and policy updates, navigating the business landscape in Indonesia and ASEAN, as well as published the 2023 Indonesia Economic Outlook.
Agung Yudha holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta and master’s degree in international laws from the University of Hong Kong, and received diplomat training at the Clingendael Institute of International Relations in the Hague, Netherlands.
